This changes everything.

Convergent Reentry Skills Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is successful reentry for justice impacted folks.

Our comprehensive whole person approach provides our beneficiaries with job training, a supportive community with peer coaching and life skills training, and actual job placement.

BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE BASED

Our success formula delivers for every stakeholder.

Everyone wins. Individual lives are empowered. Businesses get best-of-the-best employees. Society triumphs by both public safety and fiscal metrics. More, doing the right thing is, well, doing the right thing.

The main indicator of reentry success is a meaningful job. Income and purpose eliminate many of the stressors that impact lives, whether the individual is justice impacted or not.

Quality support from quality experts.

By providing job skills specific to the employer’s metrics, the Convergent Reentry Skills Academy creates an irresistible ready-to-onboard job candidate. We do that through our expert colleagues at Work Skills University. Businesses would be crazy to pass up this competitive advantage.
All the logistics and communications surrounding job placement is a burden that both businesses and job candidates happily avoid. We are proud to lighten that burden by handing it to the experts at The Fair Chance Alliance. They move mountains to assure that each of our graduates are on-boarded in a way that uplifts and supports the businesses involved as well as their new employees. As a bonus, they work hard to give each employer access to little known government benefits and grants that flow from hiring our population.

Convergent Reentry Skills Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Our mission statement is to accomplish successful reentry by providing our beneficiaries with job training, peer coaching and life skills training, and job placement.
Our operational expert collaborating organizations are, as to job training, Work Skills University; as to peer coaching and life skills, Cogent Thinking; and as to job placement, The Fair Chance Alliance.

This changes everything.

Learning new skills requires a clear and calm mindset for anyone, and returning citizens are no exception. A supportive environment of community which provides tools – including the important soft skills of socialization – can turn a potential good result into a certain good result. Our collaboration with Cogent Thinking gets this done. Our job skills students are prepared with life skills too.

To prepare a justice impacted person’s unencumbered focus for successful job skills training, behavioral science dictates that the whole person must be respected and supported. The pressure cooker of the justice system is not a trifle. It is real. It is traumatic.
Please email us if you are a justice impacted person looking for free job training with a supportive community, and actual job placement; or an employer looking to take advantage of our transformational programs.
